A plain cotton shade, and under it, a small scene. On a 4 × 4 inch hand-painted canvas, a girl covers her eyes while a boy stands behind her, hiding flowers behind his back. The canvas sits on its own wooden easel inside the frame. The shade is undyed cotton, so the light is soft and even. The frame is repurposed pine, made by hand in India. The shade detaches for washing and can be swapped with any other Little Lamps shade. A quiet lamp for a bedside, a bookshelf, or the first flat you share with someone.
The lampshade is not permanently fixed. Just lift it off, no tools or complicated fittings needed. Remove it easily for washing or replace it with another Little Lamps shade whenever you want a different look.

Care Instructions
Wipe the wooden base with a soft, dry cloth.
Remove the lampshade before washing. Hand wash or machine wash on gentle/cold with mild detergent; do not bleach or tumble dry. Air dry fully before refitting.
Keep the canvas away from water. Dust with a dry cloth.
Unplug before cleaning. Indoor use only.
Note
Every lamp is made by hand. Small variations in wood grain, stitch and brushstroke are part of the product, not defects.
